By creating an account or using GroundTrack, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

GroundTrack is a B2B software-as-a-service tool for civil and earthworks companies to track jobs, plant, clients, costs, and receipts, and to generate tax/BAS reports. The service is provided for business use.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be authorised to act for your business. You are responsible for your account credentials, for activity under your account, and for inviting only authorised colleagues to your company workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully, to upload only data you have the right to upload (including receipts), and not to misuse the service, overload it, or attempt to access another company’s data.

Subscription and billing

GroundTrack is offered as a monthly subscription per company, arranged directly between GroundTrack and the subscribing company. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

AI receipt scanning

Receipt scanning uses AI to extract amounts, GST, supplier, and category from images. Automated extraction may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing extracted values before relying on them. GroundTrack is not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.

Tax reporting

Tax/BAS summaries are generated from the data you enter and from receipt extraction. They are provided for convenience only and are not tax advice. You are responsible for verifying figures before lodging any return.

Your data

You own your business data. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. Your data is isolated to your company.

Intellectual property

GroundTrack, its software, branding, and design remain our property. No rights are granted except as stated in these Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. We do not warrant that receipt extraction or tax figures are accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or for non-payment.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the app or website.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
